Pujo360 Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Pujo360 Android app handles information when you use its account, navigation, profile, group and community features.

App: Pujo360Package: com.rsapujo360.appLast updated: 12 September 2026

1. About Pujo360

Pujo360 is a Durga Puja companion app for discovering pandals, planning routes, finding nearby services and coordinating with groups. This policy applies to the Android app with package name com.rsapujo360.app.

2. Information you provide

Depending on the features you choose, you may provide profile details such as your display name, home district and gender; upload a profile photo; save or visit pandals; create routes; join groups; record group plans, votes and expenses; send encrypted group-chat messages; submit crowd information; and send optional safety or problem reports.

3. Google Sign-In and account information

When you sign in with Google, Pujo360 uses Firebase Authentication to receive account details made available for sign-in, including your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile-photo URL. These details identify your Pujo360 account and display your profile. If you choose a new profile photo in Pujo360, the selected image is uploaded to Firebase Storage and its URL is stored with your profile.

4. Location and GPS

With your Android permission, Pujo360 uses approximate or precise device location to show nearby pandals and services, calculate and display routes, support navigation, identify nearby metro or rail options, parking and toilets, and detect arrival near a selected pandal. Location access is feature-dependent and can be disabled in Android settings.

5. Firebase and app services

Pujo360 uses Firebase Authentication for sign-in, Cloud Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database for account and group-related app data, Firebase Storage for user-selected profile photos, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notification delivery. Notification registration may store a device messaging token with the user account.

6. Groups, chat and reports

Group membership may include a user ID, display name, email address, profile-photo URL, role, plans, votes and expense information so authenticated group members can use shared features. Normal group-chat text is encrypted on the sender’s device for each recipient and is decrypted on recipient devices; Firebase receives the encrypted delivery payload rather than normal plaintext chat text. If a user explicitly chooses to include a message in a moderation report, that reported text and related identifiers may be sent to Pujo360 for safety review.

7. How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide requested app features, maintain profiles and groups, calculate or display relevant routes and nearby results, deliver messages and notifications, prevent abuse, respond to reports, secure the service and meet legal obligations.

8. Sharing and service providers

Pujo360 sends information to Google Firebase as a service provider where needed to operate the app. Group information is available to authenticated members as required by group features. User-triggered navigation, payment, sharing and external-service actions may open another app or website, whose own privacy terms then apply. Pujo360 does not sell personal information.

9. Security

Pujo360 uses Firebase access controls, authenticated requests, platform security and transport encryption. Normal chat uses AES-GCM message encryption with recipient-specific RSA key wrapping. No system can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their Google account and device.

10. Retention and deletion

Account and feature data is retained while needed to provide the service or until it is changed or deleted. Temporary encrypted chat-delivery documents are removed after successful receipt where the app’s delivery flow completes. You can delete your Pujo360 account from the app; see the account deletion page for instructions. Limited records may be retained only where reasonably necessary for legal, fraud-prevention or security obligations.

11. Children’s privacy

Pujo360 is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information should use the support method below so the issue can be reviewed.

12. Your choices and rights

You can manage Android permissions, edit available profile settings, leave supported group features, sign out and request account deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction or deletion of your personal information.

13. Contact

Pujo360 does not currently publish a support email address. For privacy questions or assistance, use the existing Pujo360 support form and clearly describe your request. Do not include passwords or authentication tokens.

14. Policy updates

This policy may be updated when Pujo360’s features, services or legal requirements change. The current effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
